I can not see that comments like this (assuming that she actually said it) are helping equality in any way!

"You can see what is happening,” says Katrin Olafsdottir, Associate Professor of Economics and a member of the board of New Glitnir, which is trying to devise a new mission for the crippled bank. “The men went out there and took these incredibly irrational risks — and getting loads of money for doing it, feeling really good about it - and then the women have to come in to clean it up.”
And then “I don't want to lend to men, they take unnecessary risks, they get drunk and they don't give back the money. If I lend to women they use it sensibly and they pay it back.”
There would be an outcry if a man made a similar statement about women. There will be no equality while one sex tries to enhance itself at the expense of another. I know it is engrained in the way we think, talk and joke but surely to goodness it is time it was not dished up in interviews with the press? As my daughter put it "She must be a sad woman". I may just change my bank :-(
